Since the emergence
of HIV, medical practice and technology have changed
significantly. HHMP was established in 1992 to meet
this challenge, and has since developed a close working
relationship with pharmaceutical companies, universities,
professional bodies, and community groups.
This now enables HHMP to deliver a quality of medical
care that was previously only found in hospitals and
specialist facilities.
HHMP also has a focus on research and education, including:
• Participation in over 30 clinical trials
• Involvement in the development and marketing
of new health products
• Participation in surveys and focus groups
• HHMP doctors speak at peer education forums,
international conferences, and Section 100 Prescribers’
