Within those services, HHMP GPs can provide
allergy testing,
asthma control,
family planning,
contraception,
blood pressure testing and treatment,
cholesterol management,
testing for diabetes,
diabetes management,
stress management,
drug and alcohol counselling,
hypnotherapy,
body piercing,
methods of quitting smoking,
preparation for travel
including vaccinations,
dermatoscopy assessments of sun-damaged skin,
and treatments for hair loss.
On-Site Nursing Department
HHMP has its own self-contained Practice Nursing department,
staffed by several fully trained nurses. What this means
for you as a patient is that your allocated appointment
time with the doctor is spent entirely on the consultation.
If you need to get pathology tests as part of your consult,
one of our practice nurses will do this for once you
have completed your consultation.
Our nursing department can also provide a secluded area
for distressed patients who wish to wait for their doctor
under the supervision of a nurse.
CT/X-ray on site
The proximity of St Vincent’s Medical Imaging
service (formerly Darlinghurst X-ray) in the same building
provides convenience for patients.
