MEDICAL PRACTICE - DOCTORS SYDNEY
Dr. Mark BLOCH,
MB.BS, Dip FP, Dip Med Hyp, M Med, Sexual Health
Mark is a director of HHMP and has been working at the practice since its inception in 1992.
He has completed his Masters in Medicine, HIV
and Sexual Health and is a past President of the Sexual
Health Society of NSW. He is director of clinical trials
at HHMP, co-joint lecturer at University of NSW, and
is a member of a number of medical advisory boards.
Mark has a particular interest in holistic general practice,
clinical research, HIV medicine, STDs, travel medicine
and hypnotherapy.

Dr. Dick QUAN, MB.BS
Dick has been a director at HHMP since its inception
in 1992. Dick has served on many committees in the
health, HIV and sexual health field including the
Anabolic Steroid Reference Committee at the NSW Health
Dept. He has particular interests in Hepatitis C,
HIV, virology and Sexual Health. Dick has worked in
conjunction with ancillary health professionals and
naturopaths to gain a holistic approach to all health
issues. Dick supports ongoing education by being a
frequent guest lecturer at conferences and is a tutor
in Community Medicine at the University of NSW.

Dr. David AUSTIN,
MB.BS, MA Psyche Med, FRACGP
David joined HHMP in 1994. He has completed the advanced
training in family medicine and is a Fellow of the
College of General Practitioners. David holds a Masters
of Psychological Medicine. He has been mentoring and
training recent graduate doctors in general practice
for a number of years. David has been published in
Current Therapeutics and has a particular interest
in sexual health, gay men’s health, anxiety,
and preventative medicine.

Dr. Andrew GOWERS,
MBChB, FRACGP
Andrew is a Director of HHMP. He joined HHMP in 1998 and has been a key force in developing HHMP into what is today. He has been a board member of the Australian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM) and chairman of the Australia Herpes Management Forum General Practice Working Group. He is actively involved in peer education. He is also responsible for the clinical management of the Byron Bay Practice and reports to the Board on all clinical educational matters for Byron Bay and IT development for the practice as a whole.
He has a particular interest
in Men’s Health, HIV, Hepatitis C and Herpes,
and has published in these areas.

Dr. Kate BESSEY,
B.MED (Newc), FRACGP
Kate joined HHMP in early 2001. She specialises in
all aspects of women’s health (including family
planning) and has extensive experience in men’s
health, sexual health, travel medicine, and preventative
medicine. Kate has completed advanced training in
family medicine and combines this knowledge with an
integrative and holistic approach to promoting good
health.

Dr. Gail LYNEHAM,
MB.BS, B Health Sc, FRACGP
Gail joined HHMP in 2002 and specialises in antenatal
care. She is an accredited Shared Care GP affiliated
with all Sydney hospitals and provides complete
pregnancy care. She has a Certificate in Family
Planning and has a particular interest in holistic
medicine, women’s health, sexual and reproductive
health, menopause and counselling/lifestyle changes.

Dr. Ercel OZSER,
MB.BS, B Hons Microbiology FRACGP
Ercel joined HHMP in 2002. He has worked as a doctor
at hospitals and as a General Practitioner in private
practices throughout Sydney. He has completed a degree
in Molecular Genetics (U.S.A) as well as his Bachelor
of Medicine and Surgery degree from Sydney University.
He is experienced in the treatment of STDs, HIV, and
Hepatitis C. Ercel also has a particular interest
in general medicine, paediatric medicine and mental
health counselling.

Dr Hsin-Hua LIU
MB.BS (U.Syd), FRACGP
Hsin-Hua joined HHMP in 2004. He specialises in
HIV related treatments and is qualified to provide
full treatment for both men and women living with
HIV. Hsin-Hua has a special interest in all issues
related to men’s health, sexual health and
HIV. Apart from being an examiner for The Royal
Australian College of General Practitioners clinical
examinations, Hsin-Hua is also a clinical associate
of the University of Sydney and is currently completing
a Masters degree in Medicine.

Dr Jane HUNT
MB.BS, MPH, B.App.Sc.(Physiotherapy)
Jane joined HHMP in 2006. She has worked as a GP on Sydney’s North Shore and spent 5 years as a doctor at Royal North Shore Hospital, much of it in acute care and Emergency Medicine. Prior to medicine she worked for 7 years as a physiotherapist, and undertook a Masters of Public Health and worked in asthma research. She has a FPA certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Jane is currently completing a Masters of Medicine in Psychotherapy through The University of Sydney. Jane’s interests are in General Medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Sports Injuries, Muscular-skeletal problems Preventative Medicine and Psychotherapy.

Dr Caroline
West Warne
MB.BS
Caroline joined HHMP in June 2006. She has extensive clinical experience helping clients make healthy changes for life. Her areas of expertise include weight management, fitness, stress management, smoking cessation and medical hypnotherapy. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery from the University of NSW. On graduation she was awarded the prize for most outstanding achievement in community medicine.

Dr Juliette LITTLE
MB.BS, FRACGP
Juliette graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. She completed her fellowship (FRACGP) in Victoria in early 2004. Juliette brings skills in Women's health including cervical smear tests and Implanon (contraceptive implant) insertion/removal; she has special interests in Children, Diseases of the Skin, Preventative Health and Chronic Disease Management. She believes in a balanced, whole-person approach, where information and patient empowerment is the key to well-being.
