Dr Michelle WALSH, MB.BS
Michelle works part-time as a General Practitioner for HHMP. She graduated in 1978 from the University of Sydney and has lived and worked in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW since 1981.She is currently a Medical Officer with the Lismore Family Planning Clinic also recently completing a GP attachment with the Liver Clinic, Northern Rivers Area Health Service. As well as general medicine, Michele has a special interest in Family Planning and Hepatitis C.

Dr. Kate BESSEY,
B.MED (Newc), FRACGP
Kate joined HHMP in early 2001. She specialises in
all aspects of women’s health (including family
planning) and has extensive experience in men’s
health, sexual health, travel medicine, and preventative
medicine. Kate has completed advanced training in
family medicine and combines this knowledge with an
integrative and holistic approach to promoting good
health.
Dr Bessey is currently practicing at Sydney practice.

Dr Kath FETHERS, MB.BS, FAChSHM, MMed(STD/HIV)
Kath graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993, and has since completed her Masters of Medicine in STI/HIV. Kath is a fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine. Her main interests and experience are sexual health/HIV, Hepatitis C, women's health and Indigenous health. Kath is currently a board member of the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM).

Dr John CHUAH, MB.BS B Sc (Med) Hons FAChSHM
John graduated from the University. of NSW in 1974, has a solid background in General Practice, with special interests in HIV, Sexual Health (SH), Clinical Research. He has been a member of many national & international steering committees on HIV & SH. Through his working experience in Papua New Guinea, Northern Territory & Queensland, he also developed special interests in Tropical Medicine, Travel Medicine, Rural and Indigenous Health. He is looking forward to bring his extensive experience to the greater Byron Bay community.

Dr Michael BELICH,
MB.BS
Michael graduated MB.BS from UNSW Sydney in 2002. Michael was formerly with the Mullimbimby Wholistic Medical Practice before joining HHMP and knows the local area well. He takes a special interest in family medicine, pediatrics, and counseling in drug rehab /depression. He follows a pathway in complementary medicine.
