All HHMP’s doctors fulfil the Continuing
Medical Education (CME) criteria prescribed by the Royal
Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP),
required to maintain registration.
HHMP’s doctors conduct regular clinical
audits in association with the National Prescribing
Service, to ensure that they are providing patients
with appropriate care.
HHMP’s practitioners regularly attend
and present at conferences, including the ASHM Conferences,
held by the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine.
All HHMP practitioners are registered with their
relevant professional bodies.
HHMP works closely with other health care services,
including ACON and the Albion Street Centre, sharing
new information and treatment options.
Pharmaceutical representatives visit HHMP to
update the doctors on new drug treatments.
HHMP promotes and participates in many clinical
trials of new treatments.
HHMP has an in-house library for staff, which
is constantly updated with the latest health information.
Staff appraisals are conducted every 6 months,
to ensure that staff are meeting the standards of the
Practice.

Community Education
HHMP has a wide range of free literature available to
patients, providing information on herpes, diabetes,
safe sex, sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s)
pap smears and other health issues. HHMP is also actively
involved in campaigns to improve community health awareness.
