Do You Suffer from Cold Sores?
Cold sores are small and unusually painful blisters on the skin of the lips or mouth and are caused by the Herpes Simplex virus. Holdsworth House Medical Practice is conducting a research study for treatment of cold sores.
You may be eligible to take part in the study if you:
- Are 18 years of age or over
- Have a history of recurrent cold sores
- Have experienced at least 3 episodes in the last 12 months

You will receive compensation for the travel costs and time and effort required for you to take part in the study. All information received is kept strictly confidential.
This medical research has received ethics committee approval by the Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee. Study is being conducted under Australian and International guidelines.
