Fiona is a GP in Brisbane, having studied at the University of Queensland. Before studying medicine she gained a science degree with honours in microbiology, and worked in an HIV research lab. She has been working in the area of LGBT health and HIV medicine since 2001. She is an S100 prescriber, and is able to offer holistic HIV management.
Fiona is experienced in transgender medicine, is a member of ANZPATH, and is able to assist patients at all stages of transition. Fiona also has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has experience in all aspects of women’s health. She provides shared antenatal care with all the Brisbane obstetric hospitals including the RBWH and the Mater Hospitals.
Fiona also has an interest in sexual health, women’s health, contraception, fertility and mental health, as well as being competent in all aspects of general practice. She is very happy to see patients of all ages. Fiona is experienced in minor procedures such as skin cancer removals and contraceptive implants.
